Drawings

Here are the new drawings from our engineer, Stiles.

It is approximately 1560 square feet of air conditioned space. It will be on the generator system.

It is 40' wide by 20' tall, the extension for the actual car area is 14' wide by 18' long and 16' tall.

There will be loft storage above the car area, and sliding glass doors to close off the car area from the central dome area.

We are installing a small bathroom to service the space, and also to serve as a cabana bathroom for the pool/screen dome.

Entering from the Laundry room door, there is a large area for an upright freezer and hurricane storage of food and canned goods.

The bathroom has a pocket door entry to a shower, toilet and sink. There will be hooks for clothes for pool bathers.

The whole dome floor space will be carpeted, including the garage area. We can use this space for overnight guests during hurricanes.

We'll also be moving our gym equipment and treadmill into the space.

We will use it primarily for our edit suite, the building housing it sustained severe damage during Wilma in 2005 (now repaired).

The key to the drawings is that one square is 2'.
