These are photos of the surrounding landscape of the dome area. There are many mature trees, including a rare pecan tree (for this area) at the back of the dome. We had to trim two of the overhanging branches so they wouldn't puncture the airform upon inflation. During land clearing and fill, we cleared 20 old citrus trees (mostly valencia oranges) and left the navel trees near the front of the property. We also preserved a great tangerine tree outside the back door of the laundry room (next to the future garage area). We will be adding many exotic fruit trees and have already planted several banana and plantain trees.
