We met with Peggy Atwood at her dome in Kerhonkson, NY (the Catskills). She had asked us to meet with her to get our take on some of the things she has encountered while building her dome. We discussed the choices we made and offered her some ideas to get her closer to completion. She has one of the most beautiful locations we have seen. She is surrounded by thick forests and has a fast running stream on her property. She took the trees that were within her foundation footprint and had them milled to use for her loft floor and the support beams. Her two domes giver her plenty of space inside as well as a huge loft. She has two bedroom suites and a great room, office and generous kitchen. She should be moving in soon so she can work on the finishing details more readily. We offer Peggy our best wishes on her beautiful dome home, Mountain Mist.
