part 2

April 20, 2003

We can't say enough good things about the V Buck system, it works great and will last forever without any rotting.

Got a lot done today, even though it was a holiday, had a lot of visitors. We moved the rest of the window and door bucks into the dome. We'll assemble them in here. Made a decision to round the corners of the bucks that are square to help them fit into the augment a little better. The arched bucks fit perfectly. Living room arches have a 12 inch sill height and the same for the guest bedroom, so we'll have to put some lumber under them until they are foamed in place. The portico arches are perfect and we'll cover them with some plastic to give us a smooth release from the form. Also raked 2/3 of the dome, to make the plastic lay better. The paxis scaffold system is now working very smoothly after packing the edge of the ring.
