After Hurricane Wilma, pine trees all over south Florida were infested with Pine Bore Beetles. It killed most of the old growth pine forests around here. We had about 25 dead pine trees all over the property. Billy felled the smaller ones by himself, but the larger ones needed two people and the Bobcat for leverage.

We called the same guy we used before, Jason from Out on a Limb Tree Service. He came out and gave us pricing for the trees that were left: $80 for large, $75 for medium and $60 for small ones. It quickly got expensive.

It took two sessions for him to get them all. Billy used the Bobcat for leverage on the rope Jason put up high in the tree before he started sawing. It will take a couple of days to clean up by cutting the logs into 10' sections and moving them out of the front to a large pile in the back of the property. We are on a burn ban for the near future.
