This cosmetic repair has bothered Billy for a long time. He finally got some time to fit it into the painting schedule.

filled in with fresh concrete

After chipping away some new concrete to adhere to with the blue concrete adhesive, he created a board as high as the ring form raceway, then made it wedge across the whole portico. He mixed up some concrete and hand filled the small space in between. After it set for a little while, he took the form off and sponged it smooth by hand. It took a day to dry with the high humidity. It looks great now.
