Our pal Larry Regier came over to help us set the blocks in place for the theatre walls.

We bought some drywall corner bead and laid it with the edges up and the blocks to the center. We also retraced our north south centerline and the east west centerline, too. We used a concrete gun to shoot the nails into the slab, they were 3/4 inch long. We placed the blocks on the three straight walls and then started the big curve in the front of the theatre. Billy and Larry used the hot knife from one of our new vendors Wind-Lock, and it worked great. Then after the front blocks were trimmed on the inside angle to make a v shape, we started glueing the blocks to the slab and then to each other on the ends. Now we are ready to start laying the rebar (#4) horizontally and also every 18" vertically in the walls as we do each course. There are a total of 7 and one half courses to get to a 10' height. The glue is really great and we used 3 cans on just the first course. The seam that's glued is stronger than the surrounding material. It gives you about 10 minutes to get the blocks set in place before it starts setting up. It was effortless to assemble these and it should be just as easy to pour the walls. We are waiting for V-Buck to send more 9" material for the door into the theatre, then we'll be able to pour very soon.
