Another major step forward, or up in this case. Billy was able to walk around on the decking on New Year's Eve. We doubled the jacks in the middle of each span and also added more at the edge. Then we cross braced the 2 x 10s with 2 x 4s on the underside to keep the big boards from moving. After glueing the seams of the Insul-Deck the spans will become one unit and will be easier to level for the pour. They are a little flighty when loose and not attached to each other. They have no weight of their own, but you have to get them level so you can pour the floor level, so in some places we secured them to the wood boards to keep them from being squirrely. The stairs are the next item on the list, and they should take a few days to form up. We joked about digging a hole for the scissor lift and using it as an elevator, but it is kinda big, and orange.
